Avène's Cicalfate+ Skin Recovery Emulsion is a protective cream with healing ingredients:

• Mineral Spring Water for trace elements and unique microflora
• Squalane to help hydrate and fight free radicals
• Niacinamide to help hydrate and fight free radicals
• Copper-Zinc Sulfate for anti-inflammatory properties

Designed for sensitive skin and post procedure skin.

How it works:

Designed to help skin repair quickly, this emulsion uses calming, nourishing ingredients. The unique trace elements and postbiotic microflora in the Mineral Spring Water hydrate and soothe skin while improving it’s texture. Squalane mimics skin’s natural oils to create a barrier that locks in moisture. Niacinamide encourages skin cells to produce ceramides, which are lipids that protect the epidermis. These 2 ingredients also function as antioxidants and fight free radicals that damage skin DNA. Inflammation slows down healing, but Copper and Zinc Sulfates combat inflammation and help reduce scarring during the healing process. The result is healthier, stronger and hydrated skin.

How to use:

Apply at least twice daily to the affected areas immediately following a dermatological procedure. Continue application until the skin has completely recovered.

For post-tattoo use, apply 72 hours after receiving the tattoo.

This is excellent to use after a surgery, facial treatment, laser treatment, and especially after getting a tattoo.
