Ayur-Medic’s Salicylic Wash is an exfoliating facial cleanser with active ingredients:

How it works:

Since 5th century BC, Salicylic Acid has been used to fight inflammation and treat all kinds of aches and pains. It works to block prostaglandin (pain hormones) production and loosens the protein bonds in damaged and dead skin cells. This makes exfoliation and clearing clogged pores easy. While Salicylic Acid is busy sloughing off the bad stuff, Tea Tree oil helps balance skin’s oil production and tightens pores. Chamomile and Rosemary extracts cleanse any leftover impurities and act as antioxidants to neutralize free radicals. They also act as astringents which helps further reduce inflammation. Since astringents can sometimes dry skin out, Aloe Vera helps replenish skin’s moisture barrier. It acts as a humectant, drawing moisture from the air to bind to skin cells. The outcome is clean, calm and refreshed skin.

How to use:

Apply liberally to moist face and neck. Massage in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly with water. Follow with appropriate serums and moisturizer. Use 2-3 times per week at night.

Heather's tip:

I recommend using this as a second step after cleansing with a gentle facial wash. This works really well as a scrub to prepare your skin for moisturizer. It’s also a great way to fight body acne. Use as a second cleanser during your shower.
